8-Day Red Sea Discovery Liveaboard: Dive & Kite Safari from Hurghada

Arrive or transfer to Hurghada Marina for embarkation aboard MY Olympia after 12:00 PM local time. After the welcome, cabin allocation and yacht orientation, the crew reviews certifications, medical declarations, logbooks and kite experience.

Departure toward Abu Monqar may follow, subject to port clearance and operating conditions. If conditions allow, the first planned kitesurfing session takes place in the protected flat-water lagoon before the welcome dinner.

Dinner and the first overnight take place aboard MY Olympia.

Begin with breakfast and a daily sea, weather and activity briefing. Up to four guided dives may be scheduled depending on guest level, sea conditions and permitted operating time.

Possible areas include Gobal Island or Dolphin House (Sha’ab El Erg). Snorkeling is available for non-divers where site and safety conditions allow, and a night dive may be offered for qualified guests.

The captain and dive team select the best site combination for the day. A full dive day may include up to four dives with reef, drift or current-dependent profiles according to conditions.

Potential operating areas include Soyul Island, Giftun Island or a return to Gobal Island, while meals, surface intervals and rest take place aboard the yacht. A night dive may be offered where permitted and operationally suitable.

After a wind assessment and rider briefing, the second planned kite day takes place at Tawila Island or Geysum Island according to the forecast, sea state and vessel position.

The onboard kite team provides activity support and safety supervision. Snorkeling may be added in the afternoon if time, anchorage and operating conditions permit.

The day focuses on the best available northern Red Sea sites not yet visited, or on a return to a preferred location selected by the captain and guides.

Up to four dives may be offered, with opportunities for coral gardens, reef walls, marine-life observation and underwater photography. Snorkeling remains available at suitable sites, and a night dive may be arranged when conditions allow.

An early-morning activity may be planned at Dolphin House when conditions are favorable, followed by further guided dives during the day.

The exact number of dives is adjusted to the sailing plan and safe no-fly intervals where relevant. The evening ends with a relaxed sunset cruise and dinner aboard MY Olympia.

A final morning dive, snorkeling session or kite session may be arranged when conditions, timing and guest qualifications permit.

After equipment rinsing and return checks, the yacht sails back toward Hurghada Marina. The final evening includes a farewell dinner, trip review and preparation for disembarkation.

Breakfast is served aboard according to the final operating schedule before check-out and disembarkation by 10:00 AM at Hurghada Marina.
