Your Coast & Desert Adventure begins at Cairo International Airport. After arrival, a local representative welcomes you and provides meet-and-assist service at the airport.

A private transfer then takes you to your hotel in the Giza area. After check-in, take time to settle into your accommodation and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, dinner is provided at the hotel. Your first night is spent in Cairo or Giza, with the famous pyramid plateau nearby.

After breakfast, travel to the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Explore the monumental complex and admire the mysterious Great Sphinx, which has guarded the plateau for thousands of years.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where collections spanning thousands of years introduce the art, beliefs and achievements of ancient Egypt. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Cairo or Giza.

Leave Cairo early and travel north towards the Mediterranean coast. En route, visit the historic monasteries of Wadi El Natrun, one of Egypt’s oldest centres of Christian monastic tradition.

After the visit, continue to Alexandria. On arrival, enjoy a walk along the Corniche and experience the city’s distinctive Mediterranean atmosphere. The waterfront introduces Alexandria’s layered history and coastal character before you check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight are provided in Alexandria.

Spend a full day discovering Alexandria, often described as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. The city combines Egyptian identity with a strong Greco-Roman heritage and a distinctive coastal atmosphere.

Explore selected monuments, lively markets and waterfront areas that reflect the city’s long and varied history. The programme allows time to experience Alexandria gradually rather than rushing between locations. Lunch and dinner are included, followed by a second overnight stay in Alexandria.

After an early breakfast, begin the long journey from Alexandria towards Siwa Oasis. The route follows Egypt’s northern coast and passes through Marsa Matrouh, known for its clear turquoise water and bright Mediterranean scenery.

Stop for lunch in the coastal town before leaving the shoreline and travelling inland towards the Western Desert. As the landscape changes from coast to desert, continue towards the remote Siwa depression. Arrive in Siwa in the evening, followed by dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Enjoy a full day immersed in the landscapes and local culture of Siwa Oasis. The programme introduces the oasis environment, where palm groves, desert horizons and traditional settlements create a character unlike anywhere else in Egypt.

During the afternoon, travel to Fitnas Lake for a peaceful sunset experience. Watch the changing light across the water and surrounding palms as the day comes to an end. Return to your accommodation for dinner and a second overnight stay in Siwa.

After breakfast, leave Siwa and begin the long overland journey towards Fayoum. Throughout the day, the scenery changes from remote desert horizons to greener agricultural and oasis landscapes.

A picnic lunch provides a relaxed break during the journey. Continue eastwards until you reach Fayoum, where the contrast between cultivated land and the surrounding desert becomes increasingly visible. After arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight is provided in Fayoum.

Today you explore the natural attractions of the Fayoum region. Visit the waterfalls of Wadi El Rayan and continue to the Magic Lake, where calm water, sand dunes and open desert scenery form a striking landscape.

The journey then leads to Wadi El Hitan, the Valley of the Whales. This UNESCO-listed area contains fossil remains that document an important stage in the evolution of ancient whales. After the visit, the desert camp is prepared. Dinner and overnight are enjoyed beneath the stars.

After breakfast, continue deeper into the Western Desert by 4×4 safari vehicle. As the journey progresses, the landscape changes into a surreal environment of pale limestone and chalk formations.

Arrive in the White Desert and discover the first wind-shaped rock formations, many of which resemble natural sculptures. The remote setting provides a powerful contrast to the cities and cultivated oases visited earlier in the journey. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the camp and spend the night beneath the clear desert sky.

Spend a full day exploring the extraordinary landscapes of the White Desert. Travel by 4×4 safari vehicle between white limestone formations, open plains and areas shaped continuously by wind and erosion.

The changing light creates different colours and shadows across the formations throughout the day. In the late afternoon, pause to experience sunset over the desert as the pale landscape takes on warmer tones. Return to the camp for dinner and enjoy another overnight stay under the stars.

Leave the White Desert after breakfast and begin the return journey towards Cairo. En route, stop at Crystal Mountain, where natural mineral formations reflect the sunlight.

Continue through the Black Desert, whose dark volcanic hills create a dramatic contrast with the pale formations of the White Desert. A lunch stop is arranged at Bahariya Oasis before the final drive to Cairo. After arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner. Your final overnight stay is in Cairo or Giza.

After breakfast, your 13-day Coast & Desert Adventure comes to an end. Check out from your hotel and transfer privately to Cairo International Airport.
