8-Day Cultural Tour with Nile Cruise

Your cultural journey begins at Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a representative and assisted with the arrival formalities.

You will then be transferred privately to your hotel in the Cairo or Giza area. After check-in, you will receive a short welcome briefing with important information about the upcoming tour program. Today, you will discover Aswan’s most important cultural highlights. First, you will visit the impressive Philae Temple, whose sanctuaries are dedicated to the goddess Isis.

You will then see the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s ancient granite quarries. Afterwards, a felucca ride on the Nile will allow you to experience the city’s peaceful atmosphere from a special perspective. Following the sightseeing program, you will return to your hotel for dinner and your second overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will leave Aswan and travel north through the fertile Nile Valley to Luxor. During the overland journey, you will experience changing landscapes with villages, agricultural fields, and views of the Nile.

Depending on the services booked, visits to the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu may be added as optional excursions. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in, dinner, and overnight accommodation will take place in Luxor.

The day begins on Luxor’s West Bank. You will visit the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, and the impressive terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will explore Medinet Habu, one of Luxor’s best-preserved temple complexes. You will then continue to the East Bank, where you will visit the vast Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Cairo, where the cultural sightseeing program continues.

You will visit the Ibn Tulun Mosque, one of the city’s most important historic Islamic monuments. Afterwards, you will explore the Church of Abu Serga and the Hanging Church in Coptic Cairo. You will then be transferred to your hotel. Dinner and the final overnight stay of the tour will be in Cairo.

After breakfast, your classic discovery tour through Cairo and Upper Egypt comes to an end. Following check-out, you will be transferred privately from your hotel to Cairo International Airport.
